Emergency services battled a fire at a tenement building in Dundee on Tuesday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was alerted to a smell of smoke coming from a building on Baldovan Terrace in the city's Stobswell area at about 17:45.

Four fire engines and one height vehicle were sent to fight a blaze which was affecting the roof of the building.

An SFRS spokesperson added: "There were no reported casualties, and one fire appliance is currently still at the scene."

Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing but there were no apparent suspicious circumstances.
