A motorway has been closed northbound after a multi-vehicle crash.

It happened before 07:00 GMT on the M40 between junctions three and four near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

National Highways said emergency services are at the scene of the serious collision.

A spokesperson said diversions are in place and drivers should allow extra time for journeys.
