A road in Devon has reopened after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the A381 at Halwell, near Totnes, after a car and a motorcycle collided at about 07:00 BST.

The force said the motorcyclist's injuries were serious but not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

"The vehicles have been recovered and the road was cleared at 12:00," it added.
