A fire in a public toilet has prompted a police investigation into arson.

Guernsey Police said the incident happened at about 20:30 GMT on Wednesday in the female toilets at the bus terminus in St Peter Port.

Officers believe the fire, which has caused "significant damage", was started deliberately.

Police are asking for anyone with dash-cam footage or other information, to contact them on Crimestoppers.
