Teenager stabbed on campus after football game

A teenager has suffered "suspected life-changing injuries" after being stabbed on a university campus.

West Midlands Police were called to Aston Triangle, at the Aston University campus in Birmingham, at about 17:45 GMT on Saturday, after a social football game.

The force said it had been "working round the clock" to investigate the crime and was asking people with information or smartphone footage to get in touch.

Officers said they were looking for a suspect described as black, around 18 to 20 years old, who was wearing a grey Nike Tech tracksuit. The force added the victim remained in hospital on Monday.
