Appeal after van crash leaves cyclist critical

Police have appealed for witnesses to a crash between a van and a bicycle in Leeds which left a cyclist with life-threatening injuries.
The man, in his 30s, remains in a critical condition in hospital after Tuesday morning's crash on Kirkstall Road, West Yorkshire Police said.
The bike collided with a white Ford Transit van at about 08:50 BST, police said. The van was travelling in the direction of Kirkstall.
A road closure was in place to allow for investigations between Washington Street and the Shell petrol station. Anyone with information or footage is urged to contact police.
