The A30 in Cornwall had to be closed in both directions due to a police incident.

National Highways said that the road was closed between the A38 and the A389 near Bodmin at about 15:40 BST on Sunday.

Devon Air Ambulance and South West Ambulance Service attended the scene, and traffic was diverted through local roads.

The eastbound carriageway was reopened earlier, and the westbound carriageway opened at about 17:00 BST. Delays are said to be clearing.
