Police incident shuts A30 near Bodmin

The A30 in Cornwall had to be closed in both directions due to a police incident.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said one person had been flown to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth by Devon Air Ambulance.

National Highways said the road was closed between the A38 and the A389 near Bodmin at about 15:40 BST on Sunday.

The eastbound carriageway was reopened first and the westbound carriageway opened at about 17:00 BST.
