Works will start later this month on a £123,000 road improvement scheme.
The project at Darley's Roundabout on Boothferry Road in Hessle is due to start on 31 August and will run over five consecutive Sundays.
It is part of an £18m investment in highway maintenance by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The roundabout will be closed from 08:00 until 19:00 BST on Sundays. Signed diversion routes will be in place and local businesses will stay open as usual.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said the carriageway surface will be replaced with quieter, more durable materials and new gullies and utility covers will be installed.
Councillor Paul West, cabinet member for environment and transport, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience these improvements may cause."
