Police are reviewing any charges three teenage girls might face after a man died the day after being found injured in north London.
The girls, aged 14, 16, and 17, were arrested on suspicion of GBH on Thursday after a 75-year-old Bolivian national was taken to hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to Seven Sisters Road in Islington just before midnight.
The Metropolitan Police Force said formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course, but the man's family had been informed.
The girls remain in custody and inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
Detectives are following "every possible line of inquiry" the force said.
