Tram service resume after services suspended

West Midlands Metro said tickets were being accepted on bus and rail services
- Published
Tram services have resumed after issues with overhead lines ceased all journeys between Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
West Midlands Metro services between Wolverhampton and Edgbaston Village stations were not running for much of the day but the company has since said power has been restored.
However, the earlier outage has caused serious delays, it added.
Metro tickets will continue to be accepted on National Express services 74 and 79, as well as on West Midlands Railway services.
