Long delays continue on M11 due to safety works

Motorists are still being warned about delays on a major motorway.
Part of the M11 continues to operate with just one lane in Cambridgeshire as safety works to the central barrier are carried out.
The second lane remained closed for 8.4 miles (13.5km) in both directions between junction 10, for the A505 at Duxford, and junction 13, for Madingley.
A spokesperson from National Highways said: "Delays are anticipated, especially at peak travel times, with motorists advised to plan their journeys, allow more time or find alternative routes if possible."
National Highways East first alerted drivers on Saturday afternoon, external stating safety work was needed on the central reservation.
