A council is surveying whether or not businesses have been affected by a parasite outbreak in Brixham.

Cryptosporidium, which can cause diarrhoea and sickness, was found in the water supply in Brixham on 15 May and boil notices still remain in place for some areas.

South Hams District Council has asked businesses to take part in its survey to see how they have been impacted and how the tourism industry is performing.

The survey has been commissioned by The English Riviera Bid Company and Visit Devon.

The council said answers would be confidential and those wanting to take part, external would have until Sunday 7 July.
