Man charged after beach rape and sexual assault

A man has been charged with rape and sexual assault after two teenagers were attacked on Bournemouth beach.
A teenage girl was raped at the beach near the Oceanarium on Sunday at 19:30 BST.
Dorset Police said a second teenage girl reported being sexually assaulted around the same time on the beach, also near the aquarium.
Antony Demetriades, 24, from the town, has been charged with two counts of rape and sexual assault.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Det Insp Mark Fursman, of Dorset Police, urged anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on Sunday evening to come forward.
The force said the victims were being supported by specially-trained officers and there would be be an increased policing presence in the area.
