Six fire engines attend derelict building blaze

Emergency services have been called to a fire at a derelict building in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) said it was called at 15:15 BST on Sunday to a blaze on Fox Grove Road, Old Basford.

The service said six fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, and a specialist rescue and a command support unit were in attendance at the derelict building.

NFRS added there were no reports of any injuries and asked residents affected by the smoke to keep their doors and windows closed.
