A man arrested over the death of a woman who died after falling from a moving van in Wakefield will face no further action, police said.

Leah Senior, 27, from Huddersfield, fell from a white Ford Transit van on Denby Dale Road in Calder Grove on 17 January.

At the time, a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving offences and released on bail.

Police said a full investigation into the circumstances had been completed and it concluded "there was no evidence that the standard or manner of driving in the incident contributed" to the death.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "As a result, the 26-year-old man who had been on bail in connection with the incident was released without further action."

The force said a file was being prepared for the coroner.
