An investigation is under way after a double-decker bus came off the road into a ditch.

Emergency services were called to the A361 in Greylake, on the Somerset Levels, just after 10:00 BST.

The 374 bus was heading towards Taunton from Bristol, carrying seven passengers. No major injuries were reported, police said.

A spokesperson for First West of England said it worked with a recovery team to remove the bus. The road, which was closed between Greylake and Greinton, is now fully re-open.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed it was called to the scene and while a small number of people were onboard, "no-one is thought to have sustained serious injury".
