Motorcyclist killed in crash with car

The crash happened on the A442 in Quatford, Shropshire, said police

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a car in a Shropshire village.

The man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the A442 in Quatford, West Mercia Police said.

"No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made," said the force which has appealed for witnesses as its inquiries continue.

Part of the road between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster was closed earlier while emergency services were at the scene of the crash which involved a Kawasaki motorbike and a white Dacia 4x4 vehicle.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, or the moments before it, was also asked to contact police.
