Residents warned to close windows due to barn fire

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said everyone was accounted for

Firefighters were called to a barn and house fire in Guildford, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said.

Everyone was accounted for in the fire, the service added.

Residents nearby were asked to keep windows and doors shut on Friday.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said in a post on X that there were eight pumps and a water carrier in attendance in Woodhill Lane.
