Arrests as tricyclist dies in collision with cars

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man in his 80s, who was riding a tricycle, died in a crash.

He fell into the road after colliding with a Seat Altea car on Oxcliffe Road, Morecambe and was then struck by a Mercedes at about 08:00 BST, Lancashire Police said.

Officers said the man died at the scene and appealed for anyone with information and footage to contact them.

A 26-year-old man and another man, 62, are being questioned in police custody.
