Hip-hop trio Kneecap will perform their first ever show in Cornwall at the Eden Sessions this summer.

The Irish group will take to the stage at the Eden Project on 4 July, showcasing what organisers have described as "blending razor-sharp Irish-language lyricism with hard-hitting beats and no shortage of satire".

Kneecap will be joined by DJ Mike Skinner who is best known as the frontman of The Streets.

Rita Broe, Eden Sessions managing director, said she was thrilled to make the announcement.

"Kneecap are one of the most talked about acts in the world right now," she said.

"Their live shows are a force of nature; unfiltered, unpredictable and utterly electrifying."

Other acts performing in the Eden Sessions this summer include Madness, Biffy Clyro, Texas and KT Tunstall as well as Gary Barlow and Beverley Knight.
