Who are the newly elected MPs for Suffolk?

Some of the biggest upsets for the Conservatives in the general election were the losses they suffered in Suffolk.
Ahead of the vote, the party had dominated the county's parliamentary seats, with one constituency having been held by the Conservatives for more than a century.
Here are profiles of Suffolk's MPs.
Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket: Peter Prinsley
Peter Prinsley has become Labour MP for the new constituency of Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, despite the previous constituency of Bury St Edmunds being held by the Conservatives for more than a century.
Mr Prinsley, who has worked as a consultant ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon, said he had seen the problems in hospitals and believed the solutions were political, not medical.
Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket had a turnout of 66%, down from 69% at the 2019 general election for the former Bury St Edmunds constituency, which had slightly different boundaries.

Central Suffolk and North Ipswich: Patrick Spencer
The Conservatives held Central Suffolk and North Ipswich with the election of Patrick Spencer.
Mr Spencer is a senior fellow at the Centre for Social Justice, a trustee of the Jobs Foundation and a governor at his local primary school, and he has worked at the Department for Education.
Central Suffolk & North Ipswich had a turnout of 65%, which was down from 71% in 2019.

Ipswich: Jack Abbott
Jack Abbott took Ipswich from former Conservative MP Tom Hunt, making the constituency a Labour gain.
Mr Abbott grew up in Suffolk and has previously worked in Westminster, as a teaching assistant and at a renewable energy trade association.
Ipswich had a turnout of 58%, which was down from 66% in 2019.

Lowestoft: Jess Asato
Jess Asato was elected as the new Labour MP for Lowestoft - a seat that previously came under Waveney, occupied by Peter Aldous for the Conservatives.
Ms Asato has been a party member for more than 25 years. She said she was a young carer for her grandmother and lived on benefits, so she knew what it was like not to have enough money for the electricity meter.
Lowestoft had a turnout of 56% - down from 61% in 2019.

South Suffolk: James Cartlidge
MP James Cartlidge held his seat in South Suffolk for the Conservatives but with a much reduced majority.
Mr Cartlidge is an entrepreneur who founded Share to Buy, a shared ownership property portal. He was also a minister in the Ministry of Defence and a former exchequer secretary to the treasury.
South Suffolk had a turnout of 67%, which was down from 70.5% in 2019.

Suffolk Coastal: Jenny Riddell-Carpenter
Jenny Riddell-Carpenter gained the Suffolk Coastal seat for Labour from former Conservative health and social care secretary Therese Coffey.
Ms Riddell-Carpenter is a managing director at a national communications agency and has completed basic training and officer training with the Territorial Army.
Suffolk Coastal had a turnout of 66%, down from 72% from 2019.

Waveney Valley: Adrian Ramsay
Adrian Ramsay, the co-leader of the Green Party, is the first MP for the new seat of Waveney Valley which straddles the Norfolk/Suffolk river border. He is also the first Green MP in the East of England.
Mr Ramsay was a councillor in Norwich, has been deputy leader of the party and has been CEO of two national environmental charities.
The turnout was 69%.

West Suffolk: Nick Timothy
Nick Timothy is the new MP for West Suffolk after holding the seat for the Conservative Party.
Mr Timothy is the former chief of staff to ex-prime minister Theresa May and is a business consultant, a visiting professor, a senior fellow, chair of the Future of Conservatism project, and an adviser to the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China.
West Suffolk had a turnout of 60%, which was down from 65% in 2019.
