Fifth teen charged after playground stabbing

A fifth teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a man was found stabbed in a playground.
Hertfordshire Police said the man, who was 34 at the time of the incident, was discovered injured in Harwoods Recreation Ground, Watford, on 12 October.
The 17-year-old boy from West Bromwich, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged in relation to the supply of Class A drugs.
The force said the victim remained stable in hospital.
Four other boys, aged 17 and 16 and from Smethwick and Oldbury, near Birmingham, have been charged with attempted murder.
The two 16-year-olds also face charges of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

Officers said they were looking to identify a person of interest as they continued to investigate.
Det Con Vishal Khanna said: "Since this incident occurred, we have been exploring several different avenues of inquiry and we are now appealing for the public's help.
"We want to stress that they are not being treated as a suspect but as a person who may have information that could assist our investigation."
