A man has been seriously hurt in a crash involving a lorry and two cars on a dual carriageway in Derbyshire.

Emergency services were called to A38 southbound, near Findern roundabout, at about 18:30 BST on Monday.

Police said the driver of a Vauxhall Vivaro suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to hospital, adding no-one was hurt in the two other vehicles - a Scania HGV and Hyundai Tucson.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service added three crews attended the crash and "worked to release one trapped casualty".
