Suspected drugs packages recovered along coast

Packages containing what is believed to be Class A drugs have been recovered at several locations along the coast of Kent.

The packages are currently subject to forensic tests, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said.

An investigation has been launched, which will be supported by Kent Police, Border Force and the coastguard, the NCA said.

Anyone with information that may be relevant to the investigation is urged to contact police.

Kent Police has also been approached for comment.
