A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged after police clocked a car at a speed of more than 100mph on the North Coast 500 in Wester Ross.
Road policing officers stopped the driver as part of a national speeding campaign in the Highlands at the weekend.
Police said the car was found to be travelling at 101mph on the A832 near Achanalt on Sunday.
Officers arrested and charged the driver with road traffic offences including drink driving.
Sgt Doug Scott from Highlands and Islands Road Policing said Police Scotland was committed to improving road safety and officers were out every day educating road users and carrying out enforcement.
He urged motorists to recognise the dangers of speeding, pay attention to speed limits and drive to the road, weather and traffic conditions.
