Bus left stuck in ditch after crashing off road

A bus was left on its side in a ditch after crashing off a road in Shropshire.
The 511 service between Whitchurch and Shrewsbury left the carriageway on the lane between the A49 and Soulton Road, near Wem, shortly after 17:00 GMT on Thursday.
West Mercia Police confirmed the driver and passengers were not injured in the incident.
Fire crews made the Arriva bus safe and the lane was closed while it was recovered.
An Arriva Midlands spokesperson said the firm was investigating how the crash happened.
"We’d really like to thank everyone who helped at the scene," they added.
