Wiltshire Police have arrested two men following the death

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 39-year-old man.

Wiltshire Police said officers were called to a residential address in Whiterow Park in Trowbridge at around 21:30 BST on Monday.

The man, found in the rear garden of the property, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of police and paramedics to revive him, the force added.

A 61-year-old man from Trowbridge and a 46-year-old man from Hilperton have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police said there is not thought to be an ongoing threat to the public, but a cordon remains at the scene and residents are likely to see an increased police presence in the area as enquiries continue.

Investigators would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have doorbell or dashcam footage from Monday evening.
