A woman is in a critical condition after crashing her car into traffic cones, a bollard and a van.

Emergency services were called to Queen Adelaide Way in Ely, Cambridgeshire, at 11:24 BST on Monday.

The woman, in her 30s, was released from a black Vauxhall Astra by firefighters and taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she remained in a critical condition.

Cambridgeshire Police said no-one else was injured. It has appealed for information.
