Man charged with murder over boy's park shooting

A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder more than a year after a 15-year-old boy was shot dead in west London.

Rene Graham was killed in Emslie Horniman's Pleasance Park in Ladbroke Grove on the evening of 21 July 2024. A second man was also shot at in the park, but escaped unharmed.

Abderahman Boumzough, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with the two offences on Wednesday, the Met Police said. He is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court later.

The force said its investigation continued and a £20,000 Crimestoppers reward for information that leads to conviction remained on offer.
