Appeal for return of missing sapphire ring
- Published
Police have issued an appeal to return a high-value ring that was lost in Jersey, on behalf of a local insurer.
The sapphire and diamond ring was left in a taxi on 23 February this year.
Police said the owner of the the ring "is hopeful that it may have been picked up by a subsequent passenger, who did not realise its true value".
Anyone who found the ring can return it to police headquarters in St Helier, with no repercussions and no need to reveal their identity, police said.
