Road shut after motorcyclist crashes into barrier

A road has been closed following a crash involving a motorcyclist.
Emergency services were called on Thursday at 14:20 GMT following reports that a motorcyclist had crashed into a barrier at the roundabout linking Newcombe Way to the Orton Parkway in Peterborough.
Members of the public reported a large police and ambulance presence at the scene.
Cambridgeshire Police said the motorcyclist was injured but no further updates would be given at this stage.
The road remains shut and motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
