A car has crashed through a village community centre's French windows and ended up inside the building.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from three stations to the incident at Walnut Tree Avenue in Rendlesham at about 14:20 BST on Wednesday.

"It was reported that a car collided with another vehicle before colliding into the community centre," a fire service spokesperson said.

The ambulance service attended but no injuries were reported and the community centre would need to be assessed for structural damage, they added.

Rendlesham Community Centre houses the parish council office and hosts meetings of village organisations.
