Victim flown to hospital after two-vehicle crash

One person has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after a crash between two cars.

The accident happened between Willersey and Saintbury, on the B4632 near Moreton-in Marsh in Gloucestershire, at around 08:00 GMT.

The collision involved a gold Land Rover Discovery and a black Lexus, Gloucestershire Police said.

The person had to be cut free by firefighters before being taken to University Hospital in Coventry, where they remain in a critical condition.

The road will remain closed for some time and motorists are advised to find alternative routes.
