A burst water main that left residents with no water or low pressure has been repaired.

the SN4, SN5, SN6 and GL7 post code areas were affected on Sunday, with a bottled water station set up at Borough Fields Shopping Centre Car Park in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Thames Water said it has isolated the leak on Braydon Road in Swindon and fixed the damaged section of pipe. It added most people's supply is now back on though pressure may be affected.

It said: "We're really sorry if your taps weren't running. Your water supply should now be back to normal. If you're still experiencing problems, please let us know."
