A man aged in his nineties is in a life-threatening condition after being hit by a car.
The pedestrian was crossing Oxford Street in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, at about 17:50 BST on Monday when a blue Jaguar S-Type came into contact with him.
Thames Valley Police said the man was taken to hospital where he remains.
PC Jake Schulz, of the joint operations roads policing unit, said: "I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, which left a man with serious injuries, to please come forward."
He added: "I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check their dash-cam footage, as it may have captured something that could help with our enquiries."
