A woman was assaulted by a man in Cornwall after he attempted to snatch her dog, police have said.
Officers said they were looking for witnesses to the incident, reported on 30 October.
Police said the woman was walking her dog by the Par duck pond at about 19:00 GMT when she was approached by the man who attempted to snatch the dog before he assaulted her.
Investigators said they were looking for a suspect who was described as white, in his mid-20s, of average to large build and wearing an orange hooded top.
The victim sustained injuries which required hospital treatment, police said.
Detectives added that they were particularly keen to "hear from anyone who may have CCTV which covers the area around the pond and St Andrew’s Road".
