Pub attack leaves man with broken eye socket

Police say an attack in a pub beer garden left a man with a broken eye socket and a scratched eyeball .

Avon and Somerset Police has released an image of a man they want to speak to after the incident in the Blake Arms in Penel Orlieu in Bridgwater.

He is described as white, with short dark-coloured hair, a beard and about 6ft tall and was wearing a grey and black North Face jacket and jeans at the time.

The attack, at about 00:30 GMT on 19 January, left the victim also bleeding from the eye.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
