Survey launched to help council's housing strategy

A council in West Sussex is launching a public consultation to help structure its housing, homelessness and rough sleeping strategy.
The survey from Chichester District Council (CDC), is set to go live later in January.
It will be available for residents both online and as a printed document to fill in by hand.
A council spokesperson described the consultation as one of its "key areas of focus this year".
The authority is in the process of reviewing its housing strategy for 2025-2030, including social housing, the private rented sector and owner-occupied homes.
Oona Hickson, CDC cabinet member for housing, said: "We want to see the right homes built in the right places.
"It's important that we provide a range of opportunities to meet the housing needs of all of our residents, including addressing the needs of older people and creating and retaining affordable housing opportunities for young people and families."
The consultation will run from 20 January until 3 March.
