Police officers are seeking a man in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl in a shop.

South Yorkshire Police said the incident happened at 18:35 BST on 23 July while the girl, 16, stood in a queue for the till at a shop in Jordanthorpe Centre, Sheffield.

The force has now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to, described as Asian, with black hair and facial hair, believed to be in his late 30s, of an average build and around 5ft 5ins (165cm) tall.

South Yorkshire Police said the appeal comes after "numerous inquiries" and it is hoped the man may be able to help with the investigation.
