Lewis Capaldi is performing two shows in Birmingham on Tuesday and Wednesday after his emotional comeback over the summer at the Glastonbury Festival.

The Scottish singer took two years away from the spotlight to focus on his mental health, returning to the festival's Pyramid Stage for a surprise set on 27 June.

Capaldi announced he would embark on a 10-date tour of the UK and Ireland.

The 28-year-old originally announced one show at Birmingham's Utilita Arena but the second was then added due to high demand, organisers said.

Lewis Capaldi will perform at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pre-sale and general sale tickets went up in July and sold out.

The event's promoter, Live Nation, said customers could resell their tickets through authorised sites if they could no longer use them.

These sites are Ticketmaster Fan-To-Fan Resale, AXS Official Resale, and Twickets.

A spokesperson added that any tickets bought, resold or offered for resale could be cancelled, if they were in breach of these conditions.

How do I get to the Utilita Arena?

Parking at the arena can be booked on the venue's website, external.

It is a short walk away from several train stations - Birmingham New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill, as well as Five Ways.

Buses, external run past the arena, and if you travel to Digbeth coach station, the venue is a 30 minute walk away, or a short taxi ride.

Speaking of taxis, the arena has pick up and drop off points.

Doors for Capaldi's shows in Birmingham open at 18:30 BST and timings are the same on both days.

Support acts are due to take to the stage at 19:00 BST, with Capaldi starting his set at 20:45.

The shows finish at 22:15 BST.

Who are the supporting acts?

Skye Newman and Aaron Rowe are both supporting Capaldi.

Newman's most popular songs include "Family Matters" and "Hairdresser". She has said her aunt, a jazz and blues singer, introduced her to song writing and studio life.

Other influences include Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bob Marley, and Eminem.

Rowe's most well-known songs are "Hey Ma" and "Talking With You". He said he was influenced by American soul legends like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding and James Brown, alongside British bands like The Stone Roses and Oasis.

What is the set list?

Looking at the setlist for his shows at the O2 in London, Capaldi appears to start with one of his latest singles, Survive.

The main set was a mixture of songs from his 2019 debut solo album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, and his second studio album - Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent, released in 2023.

Songs include smash hits Before You Go, Bruises and Hold Me While You Wait.

Also on the set list was Something in the Heavens, which released on 18 September.

In the encore were How I'm Feeling Now, Hold Me While You Wait, and Someone You Loved to round out the night.
