It has been a long summer, and you may have forgotten some of the stunning events and spectacles that have happened across the West in the past few months.
Bristolians have soaked up the magic of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, tourists flocked to the Cotswolds and revellers let their hair down at Glastonbury Festival.
Summer blooms have transformed pockets of our region, with the Northern Lights dancing their way across dark skies, dazzled spectators.
Here are some of the highlights of summer 2024 in the West, from fun festivals to flowery fields.
As always, the Bristol Balloon Fiesta provided some excellent eye candy with colourful orbs scattered across the city's skyline throughout the day and night.
Thousands of people from across the world headed to Ashton Court Estate in August to celebrate the city and its heritage links to hot air ballooning.
This year's Glastonbury Festival headliners were Coldplay, SZA, Shania Twain, and Dua Lipa, but more than 2,000 acts performed across more than 100 stages at Worthy Farm.
For many revellers, the five-day festival is more than the music, with festival-goers soaking up the culture in all corners, from taking part in sound baths at the Healing Field to catching a film at Pilton Palais.
