Police are appealing for information after a sexual assault on a teenager.

The girl was walking along North Street, Dean Lane and Alpha Road in south Bristol, at about 15:00 BST on 29 August.

An unknown man was close to her, and when she stopped he made a sexualised comment and inappropriately touched her, Avon and Somerset Police said.

The force has now released two images of a man, described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall with light-coloured hair, who they wish to identify in connection to their enquiries.

The man who assualted the girl continued to walk along Alpha Road, before making off along Southville Place and St Johns Road when a member of the public pursued him, police said.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured, witnessed what happened, or has experienced a similar incident in that area, is asked to contact the force.
