Fire crews tackle blaze at agricultural building

Firefighters have been removing stacks of timber from inside the building

Firefighters have urged people to stay away from a large blaze at an agricultural building.

A "significant amount of smoke" has surrounded the area in Colchester Road, Peldon, according to Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

"Residents nearby are advised to keep windows and doors closed," the service said.

It has sent four crews to the scene.
