Wolves fans concerned after transfer window

Fans raised concerns about Wolves' prospects to stay in the Premier League to the team's former striker David Kelly

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans shared their concerns following the closure of the 2025 transfer window.
"There are different rules for all of the leagues", one fan told former Wolves striker David Kelly - calling the different transfer closure times across football "chaotic"
The fan said Uefa and world football should align transfer windows for leagues across all nations.
The club's executive chairman, Jeff Shi, said that Wolves had a "good" window - but fans present at a BBC Radio WM football forum at the Cleveland Arms on Thursday disagreed.
The forum discussed Wolves' prospects of staying in the Premier League this season.
Last season the team failed to win any of their opening 10 games, resulting in the departure of head coach Gary O'Neil.
Vitor Pereira replaced him in December, taking the team away from danger, ultimately finishing 16th and 17 points above the bottom three.
'Where's the strength?'
Fans spoke about the team's poor start, and whether the club had done enough good business during the transfer window.
Wolves sold Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United and Manchester City respectively in the summer, but kept Jorgen Strand Larsen after rejecting bids from Newcastle
Kelly said he thought the revamped squad would find the season very difficult.
He said: "You have to give the benefit of the doubt at the start, of course.
"My issue with the whole of the transfer window was: Is the squad stronger than it was at the start of last season? I would say no.
"The difficulty I think Vitor Pereira will find is that when he has picked his team, and it isn't quite happening, when he turns round to the bench, and looks at all of those lads there, he'll think: 'Where's the strength?'
"I think the numbers are too short, and I think the quality possibly will be too short."
Wolves executive chairman Jeff Shi said he believed Pereira would find the winning formula again after three straight defeats left them bottom of the Premier League table.
He said: "Wolves need stability now - we need a coach to stay here and help us for a long time.
"Before Vitor came the team chemistry had some problems. This year that issue is gone. We have a strong team spirit and a very committed team structure.
