Prosecuting counsel Anne Rowland told Mr Justice Paul McDermot that Ms Noor Al Kattib will be in a position to make a victim impact statement on that date.

She said the victim "was not feeling very strong at the moment" even though the court was in a position to give an earlier date for the sentence hearing.

Defence counsel Michael Bowman asked that all medical attention continue to be provided to Mr Al Tamini in custody.

He replied guilty after each charge was put to him and faces the mandatory sentence of life in prison.
