Two teenagers have been charged with criminal damage to Christmas decorations outside properties in a Kent village.

Kent Police said it had received a report displays in Cliffsend, near Ramsgate, had been vandalised between Friday and Saturday.

A 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl have been charged with criminal damage, as well as assaulting a woman known to them.

The two teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been bailed to appear before Folkestone Youth Court on 18 February.
