Police said the road was blocked in both ways

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called to Bridge Road, in the Exeter area, at about 15:30 GMT following a crash involving a car and a cyclist.

The force said paramedics were also called to the scene.

It said the road was blocked in both directions. No further details have been released.
