Officers said windows were smashed at the King Edward VII Hospital site and blood was left behind at the scene, meaning someone may have been injured.
The site has been a target for vandalism since it closed its doors in 2014.
Police are asking for more information about the damage that happened overnight on Friday 6 September and Saturday 7 September 2024.
