A man has been charged with rape and historical sexual offences dating back to his time as a teacher.
Edward Waller, 65, of Winter Road, Southsea, is accused of rape, abuse of a position of trust and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
It comes after inquiries into child sexual abuse against former pupils at St Anne's Catholic School & Sixth Form College by those in a position of trust.
Mr Waller was a teacher at the Southampton school and the charges relate to alleged incidents between 2004 and 2006.
He is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 10 February.
