Pedestrian dies after motorcycle collision on bridge

A pedestrian who was injured in a collision with a motorcycle on a major bridge has died.
Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to the incident on the Itchen Bridge, in Southampton, just before 19:15 BST on 25 September.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s from the city, was taken to hospital and died on Sunday.
A 31-year-old man, who had been riding the motorcycle, and is also from Southampton, has been arrested.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and has been released on police bail until 22 December.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward and help their investigation.
